Seville is a romantic and enchanting city with a cheerfulness and joie de vivre that infect the visitor. The abundance of historical buildings and squares seems endless: the unforgettable cathedral, churches and palaces with cool, airy patios, magnificent parks for strolling, the banks of the Guadalquivir with promenades and bar terraces, and the "Juderia" seething with life. Western Algarve

Join us on a tour to the most south-western point of Europe.  On our way, we first take a short trip into the past, to the Moorish capital of "Al Gharb". Narrow alleys with cobblestones and an excellently preserved Moorish castle are witnesses of this time.

A mystical atmosphere surrounds Sagres and the Cabo de São Vicente, two places where the gods were worshipped for thousands of years. An overwhelming panorama of cliffs and sea shows the untouched beauty of the Atlantic coast, from where once the daring sailors conquered the seas.

The tour continues with a lunch break at one of the most beautiful beaches in the Western Algarve. The afternoon is then dedicated to Lagos. The imposing rock sculptures of Ponta da Piedade and the cobbled alleys of the charming old town are always welcome photo opportunities.

Silves & Benagil cave

Silves was the capital of the "Al Gharb" during the Moorish rule. Narrow alleys with cobblestones and an excellently preserved Moorish castle are witnesses of this time. There is time for a "galao" in a cosy café in this dreamy town before continuing on to a former fishing village.

Here you have the opportunity to take part in a pre-booked boat trip to the spectacular cave of Benagil.

Olive oil mill

The programme includes a visit to an old tradition-conscious olive oil mill.  Here, during a tour of the estate, we learn how olive oil is produced in a traditional, artisanal way combined with state-of-the-art technology. Everything is done here on site: the cultivation of the olives, the olive oil extraction, the bottling and the packaging for shipping.

The result is an olive oil of the highest quality!

Tavira

The picturesque location at the mouth of the Gilão River and the beautiful architecture make Tavira one of the most beautiful places in the Algarve.

After the catastrophic earthquake in 1755, Tavira was completely rebuilt and, in addition to many beautiful buildings in 18th century architecture, 37 churches were built, among others.

The seven-arched "Roman Bridge" leads to the Praça da República. There you will find the town hall with its late medieval arcades.
